🌍 Win a Unique Piece of Glass Art Designed by Your Pupils! 🌍
In collaboration with The Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers and Stourbridge Glass Museum, renowned glass artist Allister Malcolm invites primary-aged children to participate in an exciting doodle competition. The theme? Celebrate your favourite endangered creature!
Competition Details:
🖍 Theme: Celebrate your favourite endangered animal.
📚 Eligibility: Key Stages 1 and 2 students.
✏️ Activity: Create a doodle of your favourite endangered animal.
Prizes and Opportunities:
🏆 Grand Prize: The winning doodle will be transformed into a stunning glass artwork by Allister Malcolm and his team.
📅 Live Event: Watch the creation of the winning design in glass on Monday, 26th August 2024, at the International Festival of Glass.
🏛 Exhibition: Winning and runner-up artworks will be displayed at the Stourbridge Glass Museum before the winning piece is returned to the school for a proud display.
This amazing opportunity is brought to you by the generous support of The Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers. It’s a fantastic way for students to learn about wildlife conservation while showcasing their artistic talents!
How to Enter:
📄 Paper Size: A4 (portrait or landscape).
🖌 Materials: Use any non-digital medium (pencils, crayons, markers, paints, etc.).
✍️ Labelling: Include student’s name, age, school, and class on the back. Attach a title and a short description of the doodle.
📦 Submission: Ensure doodles are flat-packed to prevent damage.
Deadline: All entries must be received by 5:00 pm, July 19th, 2024.
