Meet the Make it at Market Artists
Join us at the Stourbridge Glass Museum on February 4th for a special event featuring artists from the BBC TV show “Make it at Market”! This exciting program explores the journey of turning a hobby into a successful business, the talented glass artists featured on the show have been mentored by our own Allister Malcolm.
The event begins at 10:30am with a meet and greet, where you’ll have the opportunity to speak with the makers and learn about their inspirations and techniques.
At 12pm, there will be an unveiling of a new work by Belinda King, which will be added to the museum’s collection.
From 1-4pm, you’ll have the chance to watch the makers create in Allister Malcolm’s hot glass studio, an exciting opportunity to see the art of glassblowing in action.
Light refreshments will be available throughout the event, making it the perfect opportunity to discover the amazing work of these talented glass artists and learn about the business behind it.
